After years working in designand postgraduate study at Northumbria University in the UKmy practice gradually moved beyond fixed mediaThrough experiments with wood, resin, and other materialsI began to form a language of my own
Inspired by Fo Guang Shan founder Venerable Master Hsing Yunand his wish to preserve beautiful affinities in the human worldI began to consider how life might continue through timeEndless vitality thus became the core of my practice
I deliberately leave an unexplained space within each workinviting viewers to place themselves and their imagination within itBetween presence and absencethey may discover a landscape of their own
